Food colors are substances which are used to change color of food items or drinks. These are available in liquid form as well as powder form. They are used in homes and for commercial food production as well. Artificial food colors are not very safe to use. Substandard colors can cause fatal harm. However, food colors which are by reliable brands and which are properly tested are safe to some extent. It is best to avoid food colors which are artificial.
